PROJECT MEMBERS

Nebojša Porčić (1973) is Associate Professor at the Department of History of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, where he teaches history of medieval Europe and the Mediterranean, auxiliary sciences of history and several specialized courses in those fields. His research activity is primarily centered on the diplomatics and other aspects of documents of Serbian medieval rulers and on the diplomacy of medieval Serbia. He has published around 40 academic papers and two volumes of editions of Serbian medieval documents with extensive accompanying studies and commentaries: Documents of Serbian Medieval Rulers in Dubrovnik Collections: The Nemanjić Period [in Serbian] (2017) and Documents of Rulers of Medieval Serbia and Bosnia in Venetian Collections [in Serbian; co-author N. Isailović], (2019). In addition, as an associate in the ongoing creation of a digital database of medieval Serbian documents, he participated in several national and international projects dedicated to digitalization of medieval written heritage.
